This bronze statuette is a rare representation of the composite god Ptah-Min of Memphis. He is shown with the double feathers, the ceremonial beard, the flail, and strikes the ithyphallic pose of Min, while also wearing the traditional skullcap of Ptah. Dynasty 20 (1185-1070 BC).
The myth of Ptah-Min prevailed widely in the New Kingdom. Ramesses II invented a story of divine birth from Ptah who was a bull ( Khalil 1976:[4]61).
