This armlet, probably from Alexandria, started with a loop of dark brown (almost black) glass on which was applied a thread of twisted cane of yellow with orange stripes, and then four green bands. The fusing was not quite complete, as the delineation between the yellow-orange cane and the black substrate remains well marked. Some iridescence and weathering deposits are visible on the inside flat surface. Evenly pointed cross section. Eastern Mediterranean, Ottoman Period.
