  This tall stone alabastron from the Thinite Period (Dynasty 0-2, 3200-2800 BC) was fashioned from a solid block of calcite, better known as alabaster. It presents a rounded base, a slightly tapered tubular body, a narrow neck, and a flat horizontal rim.
